Welcome to the Jussi Björling Appreciation Society (U.K.)

THE UK SOCIETY has been in existence for over 25 years and we have supported and shared knowledge with our Swedish and US colleagues, mainly by sharing articles for publication.

We are increasingly using internet to communicate with our members but still send out mailings a couple of times a year and distribute the journal put out by the US society and additional newsletters .

We have held meetings and concerts in London, but we find members are not able to travel far.

Membership charges are £ 23 a year and we try to send out a CD or photos as a bonus, from time to time.

The old website: www.jussibjorlingsallskapet.com, which you are reading now, will remain as a comprehensive archive and will be able to be visited as usual and you can read it in English, click on the British flag.

The new website is intended to be a more up-to-date place for current information from August 2023.
